The Region of Crete recently announced its intentions to attract digital nomads by launching a the website entitled www.workfromcrete.gr.

This website presents the advantages of Crete as a destination for digital nomads and provides useful information for interested parties. The Regional Governor of Crete Stavros Arnautakis by introducing the new website said: “As the Region of Crete we open a new window into the world. Taking the messages of a new global trend, we offer the necessary information to people, who in the next period want to work in a beautiful and authentic place. Through www.workfromcrete.gr, the “digital nomads” will come into contact with Crete, draw on the information they seek on both institutional issues and issues that highlight the island’s innovation map and employment opportunities. The Region of Crete has high-profile Educational and Research Institutions, provides digital infrastructure ready to support every employee who decides to set up his business headquarters on the island. The hospitable climate and the authenticity of the experiences are the basis on which we make an open call to millions of citizens from abroad who wish to work from Crete.”
