As part of the information activities of the Digital Nomads Observatory, an informative event was held on Tuesday 16/03/2021 at the Association of Hotel Managers of Dodecanese about the movement of digital nomadism.
At the event, that took place online, the President of the Digital Nomads Observatory, Mr. Raphael Koudounis, analyzed key issues and answered several questions about the digital nomads.
Some of the topics discussed were:
- Who are the digital nomads and why we care?
- What are the needs and habits of nomads.
- How they choose a destination and what Rhodes can do.
- Adaptation of businesses to digital nomads.
- Socio-economic context for the emerging of digital nomadism.
At the end of the speech, various questions and concerns were raised about this new trend. The event was attended by over 70 participants from Rhodes and the Dodecanese.
